A DEVELOPER hoping to secure planning permission for a new shopping park in Hayle has announced it has signed up another high street store.

Cranford Developments has this week exchanged contracts with Outfit, which stocks a range of clothing by Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge and Topshop/Topman.

The signing of Outfit follows on from an agreement already secured with Debenhams.

A planning application has been submitted by the developer for a 20,000sq ft retail park at Marsh Lane.

Bill Oakley, chairman of Cranford Developments said: "We are very pleased to confirm that we have exchanged contracts with Outfit. We are confident that all the tenants we have in place will provide shoppers in Cornwall with more choice and more reason to spend locally."

Cranford has also confirmed that deals have been made with H&M, TK Maxx, Mountain Warehouse, Fat Face, Prezzo, Caffé Nero and Frankie & Benny's.

If planning is approved, the developers said work could start by the summer of this year, with retail stores set to open in autumn 2015.
