POSTBOXES have been suddenly appearing in Penzance as places for children to post their Christmas wishes to Grandfather Frost.

Children are invited to simply pick up a flyer, write the wishes in the tear-off sections and post them.

Ilbereth, secretary to Grandfather Frost, will be collecting the wishes and taking them to Grandfather Frost's Depot in the former Peasgoods store in Market Jew Street.

The postboxes can be found in: Archie Browns (Bread Street), The Granary, Goldcrest Stationers (both in Causewayhead), End of the World Bookshop (Market Jew Street) and Pure Nuff Stuff and The Boudoir (both in Chapel Street).

The depot will be opening its doors on December 12 and Becca Gill, from Mercurial Wrestler, said: "Make sure you post your wishes in the postboxes and then come and visit us."
