THREE bumper Penzance Farmers' Markets are being arranged for the three Fridays leading up to Christmas.
Brenda Lemon, Penzance Farmers' Market co-ordinator said: "I'm really excited about this year's Christmas markets as we have attracted 30 top quality local producers and growers.
"You will be able to buy everything for your festive celebrations; from locally reared turkeys to smoked fish, cheese, Christmas sweet treats and decorations and a tempting selection of hand-made gifts for your family and friends.
"It is all high quality stuff but we have encouraged our producers to keep costs down as we know it is a difficult year for many people financially."
Santa will visit each market from 10.30am and customers will be able to enjoy free mince pies and mulled wine.
In addition, music merriment will be made on December 6 by John Gallagher and his Rig-A-Jig friends; on December 13 the pupils from Mounts Bay Academy are back by popular demand and on December 20, Pip Wright and 40 members of her choir are coming 'a caroling'. The market runs at St John's Hall between 9am and 2pm on Fridays.
