MAKING links with schools as far afield as India, Algeria, Austria, Sweden, Spain, France and Australia, has helped Pensans CP School successfully renew their International Schools Award.

Sarah Phillips, Pensans CP's international schools co-ordinator, said: "The staff and children have worked very hard to make links with schools all over the world and to follow a curriculum that is internationally inspired with projects including short courses in Japanese and a German transition project with Mounts Bay Academy."

The application for the award was co-ordinated by Mrs Philips and language teacher Mrs Becky Kitto who had to submit a folder of completed projects to the British Council.
