WHEN asked about the production of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Hayle Community School, music teacher Mike Steer replied: "A cornucopia of colour, and a barrage of sound."

So it should be, with six schools taking part.

Cornwall is full of vibrant communities, so bringing together Hayle, with the villages of Gwinear, Leedstown, Ludgvan, St Erth and St Hillary was less of a challenge and more of a delight.

The project, which has been running since February, has also involved a T-shirt competition, won by a pupil from St Erth, and workshops in schools to understand the meaning of Joseph in today's society.

Tickets are available from participating schools for tonight at 6pm and Friday, also 6pm.

Contact Hayle Community School on 01736 753009.
