10am – Open day at Penwith College as part of Penzance Girls' Grammar School centenary celebrations (to 4pm).

3pm – Italian food tasting at Crown Inn, Goldsithney, with live music from Melvina: in aid of the Christmas lights.

6pm – Open spaces is the topic for the working group at the St Ives Guildhall, as part of the St Ives Area Neighbourhood Plan discussions.

7.30pm – Choral ensemble One and All and Occasion Brass at St Elwyn's church, Hayle.

7.45pm – Anniversary concert at Godolphin Methodist Church with Mount's Bay Singers and Guthrie Musser.

MONDAY

6.30pm – Bash Street Theatre Group, The Strongman, in St Ives Guildhall. Free.

7.30pm – Penwith National Trust Association AGM, Marazion Community Centre; followed by cheque presentations and talk on West Cornwall Welcome Centre.

TUESDAY

6.30pm – Beltane celebrations at Bosavern Community Farm, St Just.

7.30pm – Penzance/Concarneau Twinning Association's AGM at Pirates RFC, Penzance.

8pm – Derek Nash with the Martin Dale Quartet at Jazz Club, Western Hotel, St Ives.

9pm – Bluegrass night in the Kings Arms, Paul.

WEDNESDAY

10am – Coffee morning in the Methodist schoolroom, Godolphin.
