SANTA and his elves brought their sleigh to the Wyevale Garden Centre at Lelant on Saturday, courtesy of the Penzance Lions.

The special grotto at the centre is the Lions' main fundraising event of the year. Last year they were able to purchase a heart defibrillator with the money raised as well as make contributions to many other worthy causes in the Penzance area.

Santa and his elves will be at the garden centre every day until Christmas. Entry into the grotto, paid to Wyevale, is £7 including a toy, of which £2.40 goes to the Lions' charity fund.
