Pirates' help

CORNISH Pirates players will be serving breakfast to youngsters at St Buryan School this month.

They will also be helping out in the kitchens at the academy school as part of a Bid and Breakfast fundraising event to help refurbish and equip the school library.

The event will run from 10am to 1pm on March 22, with an auction, hosted by former pupil and local auctioneer Barnes Thomas, rounding off the event.

High-quality auction items already donated include an original painting from local artist John Piper and various luxury hampers such as The Minack Experience, which includes Minack tickets and a picnic, All are welcome.
