A NIGHT of soul surfing comes to Sandsifter, Gwithian, on Saturday from 8pm as the beach venue plays host to DJ Emma Cox, a star name on the Northern Soul circuit for the past 25 years.
Emma will be spinning her special blend of Northern Soul stompers, the kind of which have made her famous at scooter rallies the world over from Newquay to Las Vegas.
Shoring up the soul with be DJs Indian Billy, Richie Venning and Sheppard (from Pondlife) who will be adding some funk and ska to the evening.
Indian Billy, pictured, and Richie Venning are veterans of the Penwith party scene with residencies at the former Bosuns Locker, while DJ Sheppard is well known for spinning the cool tunes before and after the now-defunct popular ska outfit Pondlife.
Overnight camping is available in designated areas. The evening starts at 9pm and ends at 2am, and tickets are £5.
