A NECKLACE of great sentimental value has gone missing from a bedside unit at West Cornwall Hospital.

It was given to an elderly woman when she got married 52 years ago and has a picture of her late husband and deceased daughter in an oval-shaped locket.

The locket, with a patterned design, is on a 16-inch gold chain believed to be 9 carat.

The necklace was in a purse in the unit and went missing sometime between December 19 to 24.

Contact the police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 quoting crime ref no AP/13/3244.
