PENZANCE artist Mat McIvor presents Fingers In All Pies (How To Survive As A Modern Artist In Cornwall) at Artist Residence in Chapel Street from Saturday.

The basis of the show will be a mix of limited edition prints and canvases as well as posters and promotional artwork that Mat has done throughout his time living in Cornwall. These will be displayed in the unique art hotel's large gallery in a fun, creative and engaging way.

Mat's work is also on show in the Mat McIvor Gallery Studio Room at Artist Residence.

If that wasn't all, his band Love Fungus are playing at the Farmer's Arms pub in Penzance on Mazey Day. The band appeared on an episode of James May's Man Labs last November after reforming after 20 years to play at the High Voltage Rock Festival.

They will be playing on a stage outside the pub at the top of Causewayhead with lots of cool local bands including Small Town Doggers, Petite Debauche, Hantehir and The Eyelids and, possibly, an acoustic set from the Alabama 3.
